Trinity donates dedicated space and pays utility costs year-round for Tri-Con Child Care Center, an in-house, low-income daycare center that Trinity helped establish in 1971. At Christmas, through our Angel Tree Project, parishioners anonymously purchase gifts for all Tri-Con family members. Trinity recently began an ongoing book project in which every Tri-Con family is given age-appropriate books.
Trinity donates office space to Lake County United (a non-profit social action collective), hosts weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, English as a Second Language classes, Working 2gether Highland Park activities (serving Hispanic youth), as well as weekly rehearsals of the Highland Park Strings.
We have also been a venue for the acclaimed Ravinia Festival.
