October 28, 2007 Chamber Music at Trinity
This event, part of the Arts Month in Highland Park series, includes performances by some of the winners of the 2007 Young Artists competition, as well as members of the Highland Park Strings.
December 2, 2007 Sing-Along Messiah
This is the fourth time Music at Trinity has presented this popular holiday concert. An 18 piece professional orchestra will accompany soloists Michelle Areyzaga, Kurt Hansen and Peter van De Graff. Dr. Donald Chen, conductor.
February 10, 2008 Evensong in Lent
This concert and workshop features a choir from the American Guild of Organists members, accompanied by a professional orchestra playing authentic 17th century instruments. Dr. Winfried Boenig, Dom organist, Cologne Cathedral, conductor-clinician.
October 26, 2008 Premiere of "Requiem" by Mr. Scott Baeseman
A choir of 30, soloists, and a flautist will be accompanied by the Trinity Church pipe organ in the world premiere of Scott Baeseman's Requiem. Mr. Baeseman, a NorthShore composer with areas of interest in sacred music for all levels from elementary through adult, will conduct the ensemble.
All concerts will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 425 Laurel Avenue, Highland Park.
