October 26, 2008           Premiere of "Requiem" by Mr. Scott Baeseman
A choir of 30, soloists, and a flautist will be accompanied by the Trinity Church pipe organ in the world premiere of Scott Baeseman's Requiem. Mr. Baeseman, a NorthShore composer with areas of interest in sacred music for all levels from elementary through adult, will conduct the ensemble.

March 8, 2009             Evensong,
4:00 p.m.
The concert will include standard Lenten hymns along with five new anthems (including the premier of The Trinity Canticles composed especially for Trinity Episcopal Church) written by Scott A. Baeseman. The chorus will feature singers from Trinity Episcopal Church, Lake Forest Country Day School Honors Chorus as well as singers and soloists from several prestigious professional choruses in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Margaret Chen will accompany on Trinity's Skinner organ and Scott Baeseman will conduct. Admission is free.  Free will donations will be accepted to benefit Music At Trinity.

May 17, 2009              Soloist Lisa Lee in concert, 4:00 p.m.
Lisa Rogers Lee, a newcomer to Chicago, enjoys a varied career as a chamber singer, oratorio soloist, opera singer, and recitalist. She has appeared with opera companies in the Midwest in the roles of Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Lucy in The Beggar’s Opera Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.  She is in demand as a singer of early music, having sung with The St. Ignatius Octet, New York City,  Mon Choeur, Indianapolis, The Bach Babes, Milwaukee, and The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Most recently she appeared as soloist with Walla Walla Baroque, The Seattle Choral Company, The Northwest Chamber Chorus, and The Pacific Northwest Ballet.  She has had the honor of working under the direction of Gian Carlo Menotti, Helmuth Rilling, Andreas Delfs, and Doc Severinsen.
 Ms. Lee holds a Bachelor of Music from The University of Michigan and Le Diplôme Supérieur from Eastern Michigan and The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  She is known as an educator and mentor of young singers. She has served on the faculty of The University of Notre Dame’s music prepratory program and Indiana University’s South Bend Music Academy.  For the past 6 years Ms. Lee was the soprano vocal coach and soloist with The Seattle Choral Company while substitute teaching in music and special education. Currently, she maintains a private studio in her home.
