Standing in Solidarity
with Our Jewish Neighbors

We at Trinity Church join our Jewish friends and neighbors in prayer for peace in Israel and in Palestine.

With all people of good will, we at Trinity lament the violence against the innocent and defenseless, and grieve the loss of so many lives in Israel, as well as the suffering in Palestine. We lament all forms of anti-Judaism and anti-Semitism wherever it may appear, and pray for efforts to find a just peace in the lands from which sprang both Judaism and Christianity.  Finally, we stand in solidarity with our Jewish friends and neighbors who grieve personal losses. May the memories of those who have died be a blessing to those who bear them.

O God, you made us in your own image and redeem us by your power. Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purpose on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony, to the glory of your Name.
